The 1st Hong Kong Secondary School Model UNESCO Conference was successfully held on 26th and 27th November, 2022.

The MUNESCO Conference provided a valuable chance for students to play the role of delegates representing different countries to simulate meetings within the UNESCO to discuss an important issue – Transforming Education for Our Common Future. On the first day of the conference, three of our students, Yap Hong Bin (2A), Damien Vian (2B) and Jacky Sung (4B) represented Britain and presented strategies and engaged in a debate session on how the U.K. supports education especially in helping some disadvantaged children. On the second day, a case session was conducted with regard to the topic of ‘Cyberbullying in Hong Kong Secondary Schools”. Participants had to come up with an innovative and sustainable programme to combat the issue of cyberbullying by delivering a speech. The organizer also shared useful information of the Sustainable Development Goals suggested by United Nations and the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27).
