受疫情影響，今年暑假延至八月初才開始，但是同學在暑假期間仍然努力學習。今年7-8月期間，本校有三位同學修讀本地大學舉辦的優才／學分課程，分別有中二級劉焯傑同學參加了由香港科技大學舉辦的優才增益課程：「會說話的音樂：作曲入門」；中二級余梓鏗同學加了由香港大學優才學院舉辦的英語課程；以及中五級趙偉俊同學參了由香港中文大學暑期學院舉辦的「數碼世界的品牌營銷」學分課程。
同學在上課期間除了增長知識，擴闊視野，更可以向大學的講師學習，以及和其他學校的優秀同學交流合作。在九月五日的開學禮上，三位同學和全校師生分享了他們的學習成果和個人成長。除了感謝學校和師長給予的機會和支持，他們也勉勵同學努力學習，將來同樣向大學邁步。
Affected by the epidemic, this year's summer vacation started only until early August, but the students still worked hard in the holidays. In July and August, three students from our school were enrolled in the gifted/credit-bearing courses organised by local universities: Freeman Lau (S.2) took part in the Enrichment Program for Gifted Learners: “Music Speaks: An Introduction to Composition” organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; Gordon Yu (S.2) attended the English Programme organised by the Academy for the Talented of the University of Hong Kong; Kelvin Chiu (S.5) participated in the credit-bearing course “Brand Marketing in the Digital World” organized by the Summer Institute of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
During the class, students not only can improve their knowledge and broaden their horizons, but also can learn from lecturers in the university, as well as communicate and collaborate with outstanding students from other schools. At the school opening ceremony on September 5, the three students shared their learning achievements and personal growth with the teachers and fellow students. In addition to thanking the school and teachers for the opportunities and support, they also encouraged students to study hard and make strides toward university in the future.
