參與「第43屆香港數學競賽」

為了提升學生的數學素養並培養其探究興趣，本校數學組安排了六位高中學生，於1月24日參與由教育局數學教育組及香港教育大學數學與資訊科技學系合辦的「第43屆香港數學競賽」初賽。

透過是次活動，學生不但拓寬了數學視野，更在備戰過程中展現了嚴謹的探究精神，有效提升了解難與溝通能力。在此，特別感謝相關數學老師的悉心指導與陪伴。

To enhance students‘ mathematical literacy and foster their passion for inquiry, the Mathematics Department arranged for six senior students to participate in the heat round of the ”43rd Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad“ on January 24th. This event was jointly organized by the Mathematics Education Section of the Education Bureau and the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology of The Education University of Hong Kong.

Through this activity, students not only broadened their mathematical horizons but also demonstrated a rigorous spirit of inquiry during their preparation, effectively strengthening their problem-solving and communication skills. Special thanks go to the mathematics teachers involved for their dedicated guidance and support.
