Statement of Teaching Philosophy
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid”. I was deeply inspired by Albert Einstein’s quote. As an educator, I see every child is a piece of art work created by God, therefore, we have to find suitable ways for every single of our students to learn better and grow better in our hands.
I was learned by the vice principal in my previous serving school, ‘A leader should be more like the ancient chinese coin, a square in its centre and round on its edges’. What I apply is, as a teacher, I must have a firm and solid base of integrity and strong principles, but be flexible and adaptable in our approach to manage the complexities as well as the relationships with our students.
I am blessed to have a role in various aspects where I am can synthesize. Some of the graduates who have shared with me that the passion they see that I possess brings inspiration and motivation to them. I am proud to be an educator that I have a positive impact upon my students.
