My daily routine embarks upon a squeak of the chalk with which conveys endlessly with swipes, that of a creation on a spotless clean rectangular board. Although, simple as it is this chalkboard never alters in size nor does it change in shape. It contains the infinite power to withhold knowledge that speaks waves to evoke the minds of my student scholars.
With an air of professionalism I enter the classroom spotlessly clean, in mind I acknowledge my duty as an educator ’to discover that sensitive cord of the heart so as to draw out the best in a young person’ as quoted by Don Bosco.
Then, the broadcasting sound of the bell indicates that time is up and a roundup of a fresh days memories and achievements displayed as chalk dust stain my once clean, now become ashes of wisdom to infiltrate the imagination of their beautiful minds.
