Statement of Teaching Philosophy
Having taught different schools and meet different youngsters, I confirmed that everyone is unique. So we should respect every student as an individual, not just one of a collection. We need to build up an interpersonal relationship with each student. Of course there are some rules you can generalize and the prediction of somebody’s behavior is one of the most challenging task on Earth. That means we can get some ideas from our trainings or refreshment courses. As a teacher, we would like to have some influence over the students and our goal is to facilitate them to have some behavioral change.
I believe in the theory of multiple intelligences from Dr. Howard Gardner. Different students learn in different styles. From time to time, teachers need to present the lessons in a different way to cater to the needs of different students.
