中五級「多媒體故事」同學參觀香港浸會大學藝術科技孵化中心

本校中五級修讀應用學習課程「多媒體故事」的同學，日前參觀了香港浸會大學藝術科技孵化中心。該中心致力為創新者提供創意空間，培育領先的藝術科技轉化項目。

活動中，同學親身體驗了多項尖端設施：包括配備直徑逾四米半球幕、支持高刷新率3D投影的「穹幕影院」，享受高度沉浸式的觀影體驗；走進配備工業級生產機器的「電子機械工作間」，了解高品質3D產品製造及多元材質印刷技術；並參觀了支持專業聲音錄製、電影配音及後期製作的「錄音及混音工作室」。

這次活動讓同學大開眼界，不僅加深了對「藝術科技」轉化應用的認識，更激發了創新思維，為未來的創作實踐與職業生涯規劃帶來了寶貴啟發。

【F.5 Applied Learning Course “Multimedia Storytelling” Students Visit HKBU Art Tech Incubation Hub - CHRYSALIS】

Students from our Form 5 Applied Learning Course “Multimedia Storytelling” recently visited the HKBU Art Tech Incubation Hub, a center dedicated to providing a creative space for innovators and nurturing pioneering art tech translation projects.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to experience several cutting-edge facilities firsthand. They first visited the Full Dome Theatre, which is equipped with a hemispherical screen over four meters in diameter and supports high-refresh-rate 3D projection to offer a highly immersive viewing experience. They then explored the Mechatronics Studio, featuring industrial-grade production machinery that allowed them to learn about high-quality 3D product manufacturing and multi-material printing technologies. Finally, they toured the Sound-Recording & Mixing Studio, a specialized acoustic space supporting professional sound recording, film dubbing, and post-production, where they experienced the forefront of audio technology.

This activity was a real eye-opener for the students. It not only deepened their understanding of practical “Art Tech” applications and stimulated their innovative thinking, but also offered valuable inspiration for their future creative practices and career planning.
